Stopped in for a cocktail and found it quite pleasant. The piano player understood his job was to create a nice atmosphere and did exactly that without trying to make it about him. Bravo! The bartenders were professional and attentive without being intrusive. The cocktails were over priced but well made. A great place to relax and meet friends you actually want to talk to without having to talk over the music or the crowd.

I love the moody atmosphere with dim lighting, making it perfect for a date night! The bartenders are highly attentive, carefully crafting the perfect cocktail to suit your taste.
We went on a weekend trip to NYC and discovered this gem of a place that took us to Paris with its vibe- the music, the food and service, the decor, the ambience. It was on point!! We tried many of the cocktails on the menu and they were excellent. Pity we don’t have a place like this in DC. We would be frequent visitors.
Went in to this cocktail bar before dinner and ended up coming back after dinner. Great selection of classic drinks and the atmosphere has that old classy jazz bar vibe. Pianist was there playing some tunes on our trip back and the service from the bartenders was great.

The Marcy Playground was another standout—really good and refreshing. In terms of food, we only sampled the caviar canapes, but they were so delicious that we ordered them twice. These light snacks were very flavorful and come highly recommended. Just before we left, the piano music started playing, adding a pleasant touch that set the right mood for the evening. Overall, ARORA cocktail bar provided a wonderful experience, and we look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended!
